At a young age, Ilana Cramer quickly realized unicorns didn’t exist and turned instead to racehorses. A lifelong equestrian, Ilana grew up riding horses and traveling to racetracks around New England with her Dad. After graduating college, she moved to Maryland where she began working for the Maryland Jockey Club as Social Media Manager and Marketing Coordinator. Though she now works at an architecture firm, she fills her spare time with her passion for telling untold stories of the racetrack. Penelope Miller grew up as a horse-crazy kid on her parents’ farm in Ocala, Florida, and not much has changed since then. She is now the Senior Manager of Digital Media at America’s Best Racing, and spends her weekends traveling to racetrack across the nation to photograph and write about some of the sports biggest events. Harry Rice IV grew up in Staten Island, NY and has been around horses from the time he was born. His father, Harry Rice III, is a longtime valet on the NYRA circuit. When Harry was about 12 he began working on the backstretch of Saratoga with the late Tom Voss. After the passing of Mr. Voss, Harry began working with Shug McGaughey and the legendary Phipps Stable, whose famous black and cherry silks he will wear. Alexa Reisfield went on her first pony ride at age 5 and has been in the saddle ever since.  She has a background in hunter/jumpers and has been competitively showing in the hunter divisions since she was on ponies. Jessica Paquette is a lifelong equestrian who found her real home at the racetrack. After her first job on the track as a hot walker at Rockingham Park, she worked on the mutuel line and interned in the publicity office. From there, she began an internship at Suffolk Downs and has been there ever since.
